Welcome to the Heritage Weekend’s website! Yes, Marlborough’s Heritage Festival has blossomed from a one-day, Main Street celebration into a weekend of events for audiences of all ages held throughout the downtown area.
The festivities will begin Friday night with a Carnival set up on South Bolton Street. The Carnival will be open all day Saturday until 10:00 pm and will be open a large part of the day of Sunday. Noontime Saturday kicks off our first annual Oktoberfest, so, head to the upper parking deck behind City Hall. This first Oktoberfest is sponsored by Marlborough’s own RKG Financial.
Sunday we will have our traditional Marlborough Heritage Festival which includes the always competitive Chili & Chowder Challenges! In addition to our usual Heritage Festival activities, this year’s festival will feature a Farmer’s Market, a special exhibit by the Marlborough Historical Society which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and Children’s play spaces and activities.
The 2015 Marlborough Heritage Festival, hosted by the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce, marks the 20th Annual Marlborough Heritage Festival. The festival celebrates the City’s rich heritage and cultural traditions, and is a day of fun for the entire family. General admission and parking are free.
